The story

Bridging silicon and software

I build things that bridge the physical and digital: embedded firmware, sensible hardware, and the software that brings it all to life. My focus is reliability and clean design: products that hold up in the real world and quietly just work.I like problems that span disciplines, where a power-budget decision in hardware changes the firmware architecture, which changes how the cloud should model the data. Working end-to-end keeps those trade-offs honest. When I'm not soldering or debugging packet captures, I'm usually writing about what I learned.
